Prior to joining the PRESS team, Spencer Weiss served as General Manager of the much-loved and critically acclaimed restaurant ROUGE TOMATE in New York. Part of the restaurant’s opening team in 2008, Spencer was there when the restaurant became the first green-certified, Michelin-starred restaurant in the country. Previously, Weiss served as Manager at TOWN, Chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s restaurant at the Chambers Hotel in NYC, and as Assistant Manager at 202 - Nicole Farhi in New York City’s Chelsea Market.
Weiss, originally a business management consultant, found his true calling for hospitality moonlighting as a bartender in New York’s West Village. After seven years in the corporate world, he made the move to restaurants full time. Originally from New York, it was the lure of wine country and a passion for fresh, local ingredients that brought him across country to PRESS.
