Born and raised in Napa Valley, Ashley was destined to make her mark in the hospitality industry. In elementary school, Ashley got her first taste of the fine dining world “working” with her mother who was managing Napa Valley Wine Train. In high school, Ashley found herself as one of the youngest members of two Thomas Keller properties, The French Laundry and Bouchon Bakery. She continued to expand her restaurant experience in San Diego while studying comparative literature and writing in college, and after college in San Francisco at Mark Franz’ waterfront property, Waterbar. Chasing the sun, Ashley moved to Maui in 2012 and began an 11-year tenure alongside Fleetwood Mac drummer, Mick Fleetwood, at his new project Fleetwood’s in Lahaina. Here, she led a team of over 150 employees from 2017 until it’s tragic end during the Lahaina wildfires of 2023. Returning home to Napa, Ashley and her Australian Shepard named Sunday are excited for a fresh start closer to family. Ashley is thrilled to join the management team at PRESS, where she hopes to help build a strong team culture — with a little aloha. When she’s not at work, you can find Ashley reading a great book or chasing her dog around.
